Sports & Entertainment

Sports and recreation are in the blood of the people of Belabo Upazila. All the indigenous sports like football, cricket, dariya banda, ha du du, chess etc. are prevalent here. Entertainment includes Bengali New Year "Pitha"(a traditional Bengali bakery) Festival and annual competitive open stage plays organized by local initiatives. Besides, local stage plays and circus exhibitions can be seen in this upazila. Baul songs are popular songs in the region.
